On Wednesday, May 15, the team session "4 Elements" took place in the VSK University. Together with our moderator Ilya Frolov, we looked for a balance between personal, team-related and common interests. My personal focus: It was very interesting to observe myself in this conditions.

Had the opportunity to deliver our – Growth Intel's – workshop for Nanyang Technological University Singapore SCSE master’s students at orientation week.
We explored methods on navigating stress & overwhelm with life's increasing demands – not just in university but beyond. Often, in the pursuit of our goals & checking off our never-ending to-do list, many of us burn out our greatest assets: ourselves.
When everything feels important, prioritising isn’t so clear-cut. Here’s where equipping ourselves with tools that help us make informed decisions becomes key. One that we like to work together on is ‘The Decision Matrix’, which provides a framework to assess both possible outcomes & lost opportunities for thoughtful reflection.
Our aim in enabling the students with these practical wellbeing skillsets is to complement their vocational learning & help them find lasting success. As we reflect on our own time in uni / pre-career, we find ourselves saying: “we wish we knew this then; we wish we knew this sooner.”

What a great H1 conference and summer party!
It’s fair to say it was needed, as 2023 hasn’t been without its challenges. We all know the macro-economic impacts everyone has faced and how hard the Technology staffing sector has been hit, and this combined with opening two new offices and more than 25 new trainees across the Group, meant it wasn’t all plain sailing!
I’d like to take this chance to give credit and say thank you to the management team, who doubled down on our training and learning & development programs, ensuring we upskilled everyone to be able to perform in the new norm.
We also made sure we had the right people ‘on the bus’ and in the “right seat”, explaining that recruitment (unfortunately) is not always like FY21/22. It’s a tough, competitive industry which, when you get it right, is life-changing. The opportunity for progression is unrivalled with huge earning potential as we know, but it doesn’t come easy without grit, resilience and hard work. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve said “Hard Work, WORKS” in H1 😂
Fortunately, as a Group we are well-equipped and experienced to navigate through difficult times, such as the global recession of 2008/09 and COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and as a result in H1 we’ve seen some amazing individual and team performances combined with our two newest offices delivering some outstanding results.
I’m a huge believer in marginal gains and goal setting and it was fantastic to work with the team in the UK on everyone’s personal and professional goals in H2. Getting this right is so important to help with motivation and performance. True to The Energize Way, everyone was challenged to #ThinkBig and reminded, if you don’t know where you are going, how are you going to get there?!
We are already seeing green shoots in H2 and with a refresh of our company strategy in motion and new 5 year plan, we are ready to deal with anything in our way! 👊👊
