While interning at USU preschool I have learned lots of new things, but I am here to share the top 10 things. 1- Be creative, and have fun. 2- Being a teacher can take a lot of hard work, but is all worth it. 3- Each and every kid learns at a different pace, so having patience and going slow will help them. 4- Let each kid be involved in every " lesson" that is done. 5- Having a routine for the kids is easier for them and yourself. 6- Building a relationship with each kid is important to better understand them and their needs. 7- There is no such thing as perfection, lesson plans can be simple but effective. 8- Having a classroom that is well organized and labeled, works great for the kids, and you as a teacher. 9- Staying organized, and having a place for everything. You will thank yourself later. 10- Lastly one of the most important things, is to have fun and be yourself with the kids.
