Do you need to get professional headshots taken for you or your child? Our friend Booker has openings for a Headshots Session Day on Friday, March 8. Booker has years of experience photographing actors, celebrities, CEOs, and more. He is offering a discount of only $199 for a 45-minute session. Includes getting your images retouched. Limited spots are available. To register, go to https://rb.gy/j0nvv6. Here are some tips to make your child's headshot session the best. 1. Choose a Good Time of Day Pick a session time when your child will feel good, alert, and happy. Also, make sure they have a full tummy! You want them in a great mood. 2. Pick Nice, Basic Clothes That Are Age-Appropriate When picking out their outfit for the session, choose something very comfortable that they like to wear. Simple necklines are a plus. Avoid clothes that make them look older, like a suit and tie. Have colors to complement their skin tone and hair color. Stay away from neon or other bright colors. No, all white or all black. Also, no logos or patterns. Make sure all clothes are dry-cleaned or ironed. Also, bring at least three different outfits to the session. You can ask the photographer for suggestions on which one would be best. 3. Preparing Hair and Make-up Make sure you schedule a haircut a few weeks before the session. Bring a few a brush and hairspray for fly-away hairs. Very light make-up, if any. You want them to look natural. 4. Bring Music! A great trick for a great headshot is to play their favorite music during the session. Have them dance and sing between shots if you can. You want them to look as happy as possible.

📸 Ready to shine in your next headshot session? 🌟 Here are five simple tips to make sure you're camera-ready and leave a lasting impression! Dress for success 👔 Choose outfits that reflect your personality and profession. Solid colors usually work best, avoiding distracting patterns. And hey, don't forget to iron out those wrinkles! Embrace the squinch 😆 Channel your inner confidence by slightly squinting your eyes. It adds depth and intensity to your gaze, creating a powerful connection with the viewer. Pay attention to grooming 💇♂️ Clean, well-kept hair and a fresh face can do wonders for your headshot. Ladies, keep your makeup 💄 natural and guys, a neat shave goes a long way! Mind your jawline 😊 Extend your jaw slightly forward to define it and avoid the dreaded double chin. This simple trick sharpens your features and adds a touch of sophistication. Relax and have fun 🧘♂️ The best headshots capture your authentic self, so loosen up and let your personality shine through. Enjoy the process and trust your photographer to bring out your best. Remember, a great headshot is an investment in your personal brand. It's the first impression you make on LinkedIn and can set the tone for your professional image. Ready for a photo you'll actually want to show off? It's time to capture the real you! Know you need to update your photo but dread the thought of jumping in front of the camera??? Sick of spending hours looking for a good photo of you (that you actually like) in your iPhone to share with family or hang on the wall and end up finding nothing? Wish you were 5 years younger, 10kg lighter and 20 times better at taking selfies? I hear this all the time from clients who are frazzled when it comes to showing up for themselves. And I know you want images that look professional - but not too stiff and fake. You are why I created a new Self Portrait Experience with you in mind, I take care of everything… styled studio with props, professional hair & makeup, styling advice and of course pro behind the lens… so all you have to do is show up! THROWBACK THURSDAY: Throwback to that time I did a professional photoshoot for fun (and a friend's birthday present). The makeup artist outright refused to let me do my own makeup! Apparently the amount of eyeliner I usually use is "ungodly and an abomination" Not how I'd describe it, but I guess to each their own... It was a genuinely fun experience, but I learned a very important thing about myself. I quite literally despise other people doing my makeup or telling me what to wear. How I dress and use make-up is my armour, and taking that away makes me...very unhappy (to say the least). It changes who I am, how I present. Without it, I am not me. You know what else I'm also not me without? Admin. Wanna add your name to my client roster to make sure I never run out of things to help me feel like me? https://lnkd.in/gBjPXexj Pick your option and get either: > booked in for a consultation call and onto my client list > booked in for a virtual coffee* with me *or beverage of choice, I'm not judgy! #FaeLioness #CorpGoth #VirtualAssistant #CollaborationNotCompetition #ThrowbackThursday Image description: A dark grey background with gold starry corners holds three "snapshot" frames containing pictures of Kiri. The leftmost photo is Kiri looking back over her shoulder at the camera, wearing a maroon sleeveless top and silver steampunk goggles on her head. In the right-hand photo, Kiri is against a bright graffittied backdrop, again wearing the silver steampunk goggles as a headband over loose chest-length hair swept onto one shoulder, with obvious but 'natural' styled makeup, a brass necklace made of clocks, and the same maroon sleeveless corseted top, and is looking slightly off camera. The centre photo is close-up of Kiri in a green long-sleeved top looking directly at the camera. Their cheek is resting on their hand and their hair blends into a dark background.
