MCTO at the 2024 Army TAP Symposium! DoD MCTO was proud to participate in the 2024 Army TAP Symposium at Fort Knox, KY – “TAP into the Vision.” This event brought together Army TAP installation field leaders and staff, interagency governance partners, and military and veteran service organizations dedicated to strengthening the transition experience for service members. MCTO’s Dr. Yashika Neaves, one of the distinguished speakers, delivered a compelling presentation on the evolving landscape of transition and reintegration programs. She highlighted the critical role of installation field performance, accountability, and DoD strategic initiatives to close gaps and mitigate risks for transitioning service members. The symposium covered a range of important topics, including the future of DoD TAP, SkillBridge, and comprehensive support for military spouses. The feedback received and connections made over the 3-day event were insightful to MCTO’s continuous improvement process. #MCTOengagements #ArmyTAPsymposium #TAP #DoDSkillBridge #MilitaryTransition #TransitioningServicemembers #VeteranSupport #InteragencyCollaboration

And production is full speed ahead. BZ
This week the @NorthropGrumman #IBCS team hit another important milestone for the U.S. Army when they delivered the first production Engagement Operations Center (EOC). The EOC is the brains of IBCS and empowers warfighters to orchestrate actions and make faster decisions across the multidomain battlespace. @FrankLozano, as you said, our soldiers deserve the best. And we are giving it to them! #DefiningPossible

𝐁𝐞 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐄! 🇺🇸 Standing in front of 100+ US Army Soldiers and Civilians can be scary - 𝐃𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬. One year ago, I initiated and coordinated the development of the 𝐉𝐌𝐂 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝. It allows the entire ammunition enterprise to track, analyze, and report all media, community, congressional, social media, and command engagements. JMC’s headquarters, U.S. Army Materiel Command, is adopting the dashboard at their four-star command! In a resource-constrained environment, the dashboard provides on time, accurate information, that can be analyzed and used to meet commander intent to inform, impact, and influence Army decisions. #DataMatters #AnalyticsMatter. ❤️ Thanks to my supervisor, JMC colleagues, JMC senior leaders, and AMC for believing in this project. Faster, better, and easier than doing it the old-school way, to gather and analyze data in a very crowded information environment! ❤️ Where #ArmyLogistics and #ArmyPublicAffairs meet!

Had a wonderful visit today with CSM Brandt, the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) 1st Recruiting Brigade CSM. He was kind enough to help me out with a favor, and we talked about how the USMEPCOM surge of personnel to assist with processing has helped out. Love when the DMPM and other agencies can make a positive impact to the force! That is what it is all about, ensuring we make a difference. #ilovemyjob #beallyoucanbe #thenextgreatestgenerationisnow #whatdidyoudotoday?

#ICYMI During the Sustainment Forum, as part of Sustainment Week, AMC leaders spoke to 300+ senior logisticians about lessons learned from contingency operations, training, Army modernization and force structure changes. CSM Sellers spoke about developing multifunctional noncommissioned officers and modernization efforts to prepare Soldiers for multi-domain operations. Logistics warfighters are essential to sustaining the forces. Developing multifunctional logistics NCOs allows our Army to have logisticians versed in all sustainment operations, regardless on primary military specialty occupation.

Building Aerial Resupply Coffee into a National Brand, one day at a time | Army Veteran | 4x Dad of the Year
Shame on me. The US Army Logistics corps celebrated its 16th birthday yesterday on January 1st. The purpose of the branch? Effectively to create a pipeline to merge 3 branches (Quartermaster, Transportation, and Ordnance) into a singular Multi-functional branch. Why though? Well - once you go to a Forward Support Company, Brigade Support Battalion, or Sustainment Brigade, your commissioning branch kind of goes out the window. You end up doing whatever mission you’re assigned as a 2nd Lieutenant through Junior Captain. Quartermaster Officers can be assigned to the motorpool in B CO. Ordnance officers can end up running Distro missions with Alpha Troop. Transportation officers can end up anywhere. The Logistics community recognized this and realized that post-company command, Officers should be effective in all functions of sustainment, not simply their commissioned branch. And so, once you graduate from the career course (whatever they are calling it nowadays), you’re rebranched to LG. If you didn’t know that, now you do. And - as a shoutout to people who think they know what the military logistics community does and knows how to do…. Even though the term “logistics” isn’t expressly mentioned in Sun Tzu, Clausewitz, or Jomini, the functional theories are all there. Right Steve Leonard? 😂 Logistics wins wars. Anyone who says differently apparently fought a war with words. In celebration of this event, all #logisticswinswars merchandise is 20% off in the store. Just use code LWW20 checkout. Raise a mug and stay caffeinated. Aerial Resupply Coffee #veterans #coffee #logistics #usarmy #military #transitioningmilitary

Day one of #ProjectConvergence - Capstone 4 has commenced as the Army and joint/national partners work tirelessly to integrate and test capabilities to advance the all-domain operations campaign of learning for future integration. The future battlefield will require the ability to see and sense the battlefield across multiple domains and in near real-time, providing commanders with complete understanding when making decisions that may affect the outcome of a conflict. That is why it is of the utmost necessity that the United States Department of Defense tests these current and future capabilities, increasing the likelihood of success for the joint force. As the leading authority on #ArmyIntelligence Modernization, the Army ISR Task Force is directly supporting this effort to ensure that the understanding gained from this exercise will directly influence #modernization equities in the future. We wish the best of luck to all service members and partners involved in such a critical effort! Army Futures Command | U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command
