Bridging the generation gaps in the workplace is a real challenge. As we get new generations entering the workforce, the gaps and diversity in thinking gets even more complex. The unwritten ground rules are different in each generation. Subcultures and different perspectives create a different application of how we get things done, how we problem solve and most importantly the approach to resilience and support required by people. Mental health days, anxiety and pet care forming part of compassion that needs to be applied in HR practices didn't exist a few years back.
