Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with three teams to deploy a “model” version of SharePoint for emulation by other departments. Install the SharePoint platform, integrate applications, and create libraries. Add users, control access to document libraries, and set permissions. Perform maintenance of the SharePoint platform. Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues or malfunctions. Provide SharePoint support and end-user training. Review usage and activity reports, making adjustments for optimized user experiences. Keep up to date with SharePoint developments and perform version updates and upgrades. Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a SharePoint user and configuration expert, with knowledge of best practices. Desired Skills: Experience with Office 365. Job Title: SharePoint Developer Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Duration: Long TERM Contract   Job Description:   ·         Should be able to demonstrate SharePoint online experience with a good handle on SPFx development. ·         Very Good understanding Typescript and React JS is mandatory for this role. ·         Should know how to develop a custom spfx webpart, debug, deploy at site collection level / Tenant level, versionioning the package, bundling features into a package. ·         Should have an understanding of SharePoint search api and should be able to articulate how to enhance the search experience for the modern sites. ·         Should have configured pnp search web parts, should understand how to add refiners, know what are crawled properties and managed properties, how to promote a column to be made visible under search. ·         Should know when to use CSOM, Graph and pnp jsShould have knowledge of using PnP powershell. Should have knowledge on Fabric UI controls Scenario -Assume a Azure SQL table. ·         A spfx webpart should be developed which can connect to the SQL table. ·         The users should be able to perform search for records, edit a fetched record and save it back to the table. if the candidate can have a sample developed prior to the interview on their personal tenant and walkthrough their sample, explain the way it was developed, how it is packaged - will be selected based on the knowledge they show around articulating the work done. ·         There are other ways to achieve this, but we want to assess the candidates skill only in spfx and react - hence we would not want to discuss how this can be achieved with other solutions  Share to:mike@transcendit.io

Document and Dashboard Expertise- When looking to hire a SharePoint developer, keep in mind that they should know how to deal with data, document management, and dashboard showing these data. SharePoint developers should at least have a basic understanding of databases, not only because of the hype surrounding big data and machine learning but also because application data is still stored in databases. Additionally, document files and data must be properly stored at the end of the project cycle. It is critical that they are properly classified and prepared for easy retrieval when needed. At the very least, the SharePoint developer should understand how databases operate. How is data queried, inserted, updated, or deleted? How are data sets combined and documented? It is critical to be aware of all of these things.
