Highlights include the appointment of Mr. Campbell Olsen as interim CEO bringing a wealth of Victorian mining experience to NSM’s management team. Mr. Olsen commented: “A challenging quarter for NSM, but we’ve continued to progress our corporate and operations positions, with focus on capital raising to support operations. Activities have been tailored to accommodate industry-wide junior exploration funding headwinds. Planning remains focused on drill-testing of two key prospects –Wildwood and Darlington – when access and funding permit. Both targets remain priorities following excellent results from the most recent drilling. At Wildwood, gold-bearing structures intersecting the target Wildwood basalt can be extended down-plunge into untested areas of the shallow Mineral Resource (ASX:NSM 23 June 2023). As we pursue the acquisition of the Bell Mountain Project, a fully permitted gold and silver project located in Churchill County, Nevada, we’re also advancing our flagship Pine Grove Gold Project in Lyon County, Nevada. Pine Grove Overview: ➡ 7.2 sq miles, including the Wheeler mine and 243 unpatented claims, with significant gold mineralization. ➡ 210,962 ounces of gold equivalent in measured and indicated resources, with just around 25% of the property drilled so far. ➡ One of the highest reserve gold grades in Nevada at 1.23 g/t. ➡ $2.2M invested by Teck Resources in the 1990s. Lincoln holds all their technical data. ➡ From 2008-2010, we drilled core holes and conducted metallurgical testing with excellent results. Environmental surveys and permitting are ongoing, with new gold-copper soil anomalies identified that warrant further drilling. ➡ A 2011 PEA shows positive prospects for open-pit mining and heap leach operation at Pine Grove. We filed an updated NI 43-101 in 2015. Since 2016, drill programs, surveys, geotechnical work, and further exploration have continued to advance the project toward production. ⏳ Core samples from our 2021 drilling program at Pine Grove are being prepared for analysis, marking an exciting step in evaluating future resource expansion. ⏳ The project is now in the final stages of the permitting process. Arizona Gold & Silver inc. CEO Mike Stark joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce that the US Bureau of Land Management has provided the requisite approval for the Company to proceed with exploration drilling on the Red Hills gold target on the Philadelphia Gold-Silver property in Arizona. The Company had been awaiting a BLM Record of Decision. Mike Stark told Proactive that the permit will allow the Company to upgrade two access roads and build two drill pads and sumps for drilling up to 40 exploration holes. This drilling program aims to test the continuity of mineralized rock intersected on patented claims on the western edge of the Red Hills target. The Company has agreed to several environmental mitigation measures both prior to and during drilling to help protect sensitive species known to be present in the general area. Coverage stock Warriedar Resources Ltd (ASX: WA8) has just completed an important first year of exploration activity with respect to its Fields Find and Golden Dragon gold projects, acquired in early 2023 and located within the prolific Murchison region of Western Australia. In all, WA8 completed six drilling programs across the projects, comprising a total of 189 holes for 36,088 metres. The Golden Dragon and Fields Find Projects are located within the right neighbourhood - just 60km north of fellow coverage stock Capricorn Metals’ (ASX: CMM) Mt Gibson Gold Project, 3km west of 29 Metals’ Golden Grove mine, and 12km northeast of Silver Lake Resources’ (ASX: SLR) high-grade Rothsay gold mine. Golden Dragon and Fields Find host a combined existing JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 19.2 Mt @ 1.5 g/t Au for 945 koz of gold - with 461 koz contained within the Measured & Indicated classification. We expect to see the release of a host of assay results from the recently completed drilling programs, with initial results from the Mopoke, Falcon, Sandpiper and Warriedar copper prospects at Fields Find West, proving to be particularly encouraging. This work has confirmed a multi-phase porphyry intrusive system hosting polymetallic mineralisation comprised of gold, copper, molybdenum and silver. This significant milestone is a result of how quickly we have been able to drill the property and obtain favorable results.
