I am thrilled to share that after observing many moot court competitions and mock trials, I had the opportunity to participate in the 5th Intra Department Moot Court, known as David Jones’s Moot, at the School of Law, Quaid-e-Azam University. The moot problem was similar to the 31st Willem Vis Moot Court Provoem. This experience was invaluable in honing my advocacy skills, mastering oral pleadings, preparing comprehensive memorials, and engaging in dynamic Q&A sessions with judges. #Moot #Pakistan #Arbitration

1st April 2024, was a very defining day for me as I had to face the judges panel as I had my moot court final exam. Advocacy has always been a fearful thing for me to do until this day and I realized that advocacy is not as bad as most of law students think. Tips that helped me have a successful session 1. Adequate research, to ensure that you have your law right, you must carry out adequate legal research of your legal issues in the problem question 2. Correct application of the appropriate law to the facts of your problem question 3.Practice before the final day of your moot session. #lawschool #mootcourt

Success in the Downing Centre District Court We are thrilled to share a significant victory for our last case of the year ! Recently, we represented a client facing challenging circumstances after being convicted in a local court for damaging property during a dispute with a neighbour. Understanding the gravity of the situation, especially considering our client's high-profile career, we committed to rigorously defending his case. Our approach was multifaceted: we compiled a comprehensive bundle of subjective evidence, meticulously prepared written submissions, and engaged in strategic negotiations. Our goal was to present a clear, compelling argument that highlighted the unique circumstances of our client's case. The turning point came at the Downing Centre District Court. Here, the judge recognised the merits of our argument and the nuances of the situation. In a significant decision, the judge granted our severity appeal, resulting in an 18-month bond without a conviction for our client. This outcome not only affirmed the strength of our legal advocacy but also safeguarded our client's professional reputation and future. This case underscores the importance of thorough legal representation and the impact of a well-prepared defense.
