AED1 Billion Endowment Fund The Department of Health Abu Dhabi and Awqaf Abu Dhabi launched a AED 1 billion endowment fund to support specialised healthcare needs, with Awqaf Abu Dhabi committing AED 50 million as a cornerstone contributor - setting the stage for sustainable healthcare solutions. Region's Largest Hybrid Cord Blood Bank: The Department of Health Abu Dhabi and M42 Health introduced the Abu Dhabi Biobank, with a capacity to store 100,000 cord blood samples and five million pan-human samples, aimed to revolutionize healthcare access and treatment outcomes. Med42 AI Model by M42 Health: With over 8,200 downloads and a zero-shot accuracy score of 85.1%, Med42 stands as a frontrunner in open-access clinical LLM technology, paving the way for AI-driven healthcare solutions. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi supported the event with cutting-edge sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing professional development and advancing healthcare practices. #StrategicPartnerships Collaboration rather than competition - echoed the halls of the ADGHW with industry giants like Roche Middle East, Burjeel, Cleveland Clinic, Department of Health Abu Dhabi and M42 underscore Abu Dhabi's commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in healthcare. IntPurple Technologies, a startup of TBI NIT Calicut with operations spanning both Europe and Asia, launched its healthcare solution, FelixaTouch in an event held NIT Calicut. Powered by FelixaCare, this innovative product aims to transform the healthcare industry by streamlining clinic operations, improving patient care, and enhancing healthcare workflows with features such as e-prescriptions, advanced EMR, appointment scheduling, and integrated pharmacy management. Dr. Naveen (State Head of Kerala Center for Disease Control & Prevention) and Dr. Sankar Mahadevan (President of IMA Kozhikode) officially inaugurated the product and launched the FelixaKit. Today, we discussed many important aspects about the #EHDS at a workshop organized by #NeuroCOV. From involvement of citizens to data solidarity, from opt-out regulations to incentives. The oppertunities for Europe are enormous, given that the technical innovations for the best data use are enabled during the next two decades. I am convinced that we need joined efforts for building toolkits for standardization, harmonization, data privacy or security, centrally organized. At the same time, as health data are produced in a very decentralized fashion, I am in favor of systems that allow decentralized data visiting rather than centralized data uploading and sharing. There I see enormous potential for network systems that enable many more stakeholders to contribute and benefit. This will also be more democratic, foster solidarity and equitability. With further developing Swarm Learning we will contribute to a networked and decentralized Healthcare system. I thank all who joined our workshop today for this very productive and enlightening day.
