✨✨✨ Grateful to have been part of IDEALIZE 2024 with my amazing team, Squadron! A huge thank you to AIESEC in the University of Moratuwa for organizing such an inspiring event. Looking forward to more opportunities to innovate and grow! Introducing MediMap, a web application I proposed to address a pressing issue in Sri Lanka's healthcare system: the difficulty of finding prescribed medications in one place. This solution is designed to simplify the process of locating medications, eliminating the frustration of visiting multiple pharmacies and ensuring a more accessible healthcare experience for everyone. With MediMap, users can upload their prescriptions and instantly receive a curated list of nearby pharmacies that stock the required medications. The platform is precious for locating rare or specialized drugs, addressing a major challenge in the current healthcare landscape. Real-time updates from pharmacies ensure the information provided is both accurate and reliable. This application features an intuitive interface, empowering users to navigate the system easily and make informed decisions about their healthcare needs. By streamlining access to medications, MediMap has the potential to improve medication adherence, reduce treatment delays, and enhance overall patient satisfaction. MediMap is my vision of a more efficient, patient-focused healthcare system in Sri Lanka. This prototype is a step toward leveraging technology to bridge gaps in healthcare access and create a seamless experience for those seeking essential medications. #IDEALIZE2024 #AIESEC #HackathonProject #Innovation #HealthcareInnovation #MediMap 🚀💡
