According to the World Economic Forum, energy storage, clean hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), carbon management and small modular reactors play a central role in the global endeavour to reduce carbon emissions and achieve a net-zero future. However, while progress has been made, it is significantly lagging as more investments and scaled up solutions are required. While technology advancement is key to driving down cost curves and bringing new innovations to the market, the primary challenge in scaling advanced solutions over the next decade does not lie in their technological feasibility.
