As my internship with Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. concludes today, I would like to reflect on the past 12 weeks I have spent here. Because Ebony McCauley, Justin E. Miller, Stacey Carpenter, and Shelby Woods had so much confidence in me, I was able to learn and complete projects that were far beyond my skill set coming in. Projects I completed included managing digital assets, conducting website audits (for Mitsubishi Motors USA site, Mitsubishi Motors eCommerce site, dealer sites), creating an entirely new page for the MMNA website, creating CRM trigger campaigns, writing BRDs, analyzing finances, budgeting for quarterly campaigns, creating a customer segmentation report, and creating a social media campaign. I am very appreciative that the Aftersales team took my finance side into consideration and were able to give me some finance related work! I have seen so much professional growth in myself and I know that this internship has grown my confidence in the workplace immensely. Besides the skills I gained from my day-to-day work and projects, I had various opportunities for growth. This included the opportunity to present to the MMNA executive committee, getting my ideas out on Mitsubishi socials, self-producing and managing a social media series, attending a 3-day product photoshoot, and working & meeting with numerous agencies. I also moved to a new city far from home! That was a huge growth opportunity in itself. As I have learned more about the car industry, I’ve become increasingly intrigued. I plan to stay in touch with this company and I credit everyone here for my amazing experience. I truly did not expect to be this sad to leave. Thank you, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc.!
