Museum of Chinese in Australia 澳洲華人博物館’s Post

It was great to meet with our good friends at the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations (NFACR) 澳中基金会 last week and have this photo of NFACR CEO Gary Cowan, MOCA Chairperson Daphne Lowe Kelley, Deputy Chair Adam Liaw and MOCA's CEO Tony Stephens taken in front of a great painting by Chinese Australian artist Guan Wei. The support of the NFACR has been pivotal in MOCA's journey from start-up to opening in 2025.

The Museum of Chinese in Australia 澳洲華人博物館 (MOCA) site sits in the heart of Sydney’s Chinatown and will be a place to hear the stories and contributions of Chinese-Australians from the past, present and future.     Foundation CEO Gary Cowan met MOCA’s leadership, Chair Daphne Lowe-Kelley, Deputy Chair Adam Liaw and CEO Tony Stephens to discuss plans for their opening, and how the museum will be used as a hub for the community and more.     The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations looks forward to working with MOCA.
