Dim Sum and my little secret🥢 Since Johnathan "BIG JOHN" Francis moved to Mantin about an year ago, I wanted to visit Mantin for the best Nasi Lemak that he has been promoting. Yesterday, I finally made it to Mantin. Unfortunately the famous Mantin Fried Chicken Nasi Lemak shop was closed 😌 We ended up at Dim Sum Shop. And I opened up a little secret of mine to John. I think I Shiocked him🤭 I grew up in a Chinese new village called Aulong at Taiping. It is a food Heaven. Mainly for Chinese food. My favourites are Cha-Koi, Curry Mee, Chicken Rice and Char Kway Teow. But I've never tried Dim Sum, till yesterday 🤪 John went, 'what'? 🙄 I said I don't explore much with food and justified it with my mom's advise to keep food habits simple. That made John to come up with a list of food including pasta to understand how limited my food experience was. Yes, pasta is not in my list too 🤣 He said time to break away and explore food. He shared his adventures experience exploring food. Live prawns, fried grass hoppers, spiders and all, making my eyes wide open. Well, the Dim Sums tasted good. Oh, I've been missing a good taste all this while. Sometimes it's ok to explore food isn't it? At least I would know the taste of it. You know sometime it's the company that helps to break the norm. Like John to introducing Dim Sum to me. While eating, we had great conversation about food and business too. ☄️Breaking away from norm is challenging. But it can always be done with support system like personal coaching or buddy system, when it comes to business or career development🤗 In life, family and friends maybe able to give the support. Don't miss a chance! Oh yes, what's your little secret with food? Feel free to share in comments 🤩 #dimsum #food #makanmakan #VEmpower #Leadership

🌿 Alphonso (Hapus)Mango Production in Valsad District 🥭 Gujarat’s Valsad district, renowned for its delectable Hapus (Alphonso) mangoes, has faced a concerning trend of dwindling production in recent years. Despite spanning across 91,428 acres of mango cultivation, the Hapus variant has experienced a steady decline, marking a significant shift in the local agricultural landscape. According to a survey conducted by the Valsad District Panchayat’s agriculture department, out of the total mango cultivation area, a substantial portion of 29,652 acres is dedicated to Hapus. However, the distressing revelation emerges as merely 17,297 acres harbor old Hapus trees, signifying a decline in its cultivation. This decline has sparked apprehension among farmers who traditionally relied on the lucrative market values of Hapus mangoes. Consequently, the new generation of agriculturists is gravitating towards cultivating Kesar mangoes, recognizing its superior yield potential over Hapus. While farmers with existing Hapus orchards have endeavored to maintain them, the reluctance to plant new trees speaks volumes about the shifting dynamics of mango cultivation in the region. Valsad District Agriculture Officers shed light on the evolving landscape, stating, “In comparison with Hapus, Kesar mango is cultivated on 61,776 acres. This effect will gradually be seen widely in the next five to seven years,” underscoring the anticipated transformation in mango cultivation patterns. As Valsad navigates through this transition, the fate of its iconic Hapus mangoes hangs in the balance, prompting a reflection on the interplay between tradition, market demand, and agricultural sustainability. 🌱🌾 #ValsadMangoes #AgriculturalShift #KesarVsHapus #GujaratGems 🌟 #MangoMagic 🥭#FarmersPride 🌿#AgriculturalHeritage 🌾#HapusHaven 🌟#KesarCraze 🥭#SustainableFarming 🌱#MarketTrends 📈#RuralRevival 💼#AgriculturalInnovation 💡
