Over 20 years ago, Braden Handley took something from me that I will never get back—part of my bottom teeth. Braden and I both played competitive hockey in our home town, and one practice, I was on the receiving end of one of Braden's deadly hits. I was left spitting up a few small chunks of my teeth. I'm happy to say that there was no real harm done, and I have remained friends with Braden ever since. I recently interviewed Braden on my podcast (Actualize by First Session), and the episode dropped today. Braden is in the process of wrapping up his career at Inkbox, a company which he co-founded with his brother Tyler Handley, and which they sold to BIC (yes, the pens and lighters) last year. It was an incredible success story. 🎙️In the episode, Braden discusses how his personal experiences and past struggles became his superpower and shaped his mindset and approach to business. 🔍 We tackle some interesting questions: • How can you navigate the challenges of working with family and friends in a business setting? • What role does humility play in entrepreneurship and building a successful company? • How can you maintain a healthy work-life balance while pursuing ambitious goals? Here's the link to the full episode: https://lnkd.in/g-vuZZri #ActualizePodcast #Entrepreneurship

UNCOMMON CONVERSATIONS: A DEEP DIVE INTO ENTREPRENEURSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY, AND LIBERTY WITH ALEKSANDAR SVETSKI Mike interviews Aleksandar Svetski. In the latest episode of the “Million Dollar Book” podcast, we engage in a riveting conversation with Aleksandar Svetski, delving into the depths of entrepreneurship, personal responsibility, and the quest for individual liberty. The dialogue unfolds into a thought-provoking exploration of these key themes, offering listeners a unique perspective on navigating the complexities of the modern world. SUMMARY Known for his dynamic and unfiltered approach to entrepreneurship, the conversation kicks off with a powerful revelation – the opposite of communism is beauty. Svetski highlights the contrast between the communist ideology that seeks to bring everything down to the ground and the aspiration for beauty. The discussion unfolds into a reflection on the multifaceted nature of the battle entrepreneurs face – economic, mental, spiritual, and physical. Both Svetski emphasize the interconnectedness of the mind and body, challenging the notion that the mind is somehow separate from the physical self. Svetski poignantly argues that the mind is an abstraction of both the brain and body, emphasizing the holistic nature of our existence. This holistic approach extends to the spiritual and economic dimensions, creating a tapestry of interconnected elements that shape an individual’s experience. The conversation underscores the importance of recognizing the interrelated nature of these aspects and understanding that they all play a role in personal and entrepreneurial success. @milliondollarbookman @thedreamstarter https://lnkd.in/dbKMkp8T

Entrepreneurship starts with a simple idea, often with nothing, and grows into something that creates opportunities for many. A true entrepreneur not only looks at the opportunities their business may afford onto themselves, but also embraces the positive impact they can have on others - today’s guest is a shining example of this. Sarah Shadonix, the CEO and founder of Scout & Cellar joins us to not only explore what she is doing with her Scout & Cellar mission and where it is headed, but to also share where it stems from - highlighting how starting with the right foundation of integrity is essential in everything we do. In Sarah’s words, “Integrity is a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.” She talks openly and honestly; admitting that, although we are often great at celebrating and sharing our shining successes in business, we don’t often talk about our mistakes and failures - the parts of the journey that truly helped us to learn and grow. The parts that can encourage others to get back up, keep going and do the same. Check out the full episode🎙️: https://lnkd.in/g_m2a6Vs . . . #growwithauxano #directselling #podcast

📌 #Culture is the #attitude of the business. 🔖 #MondayPodcastReview brought to you by The Unconventional Path: Entrepreneurship and Innovation Stories and Ideas. While entrepreneurship does not always take the traditional path, hosts Bela Musits and Mike Wasserman work to capture and share the "essence of how interesting people sometimes take unconventional paths to build their business." 🔖 In one of their first episodes, they feature Ed Mitzen, CEO of Fingerpaint Group, a marketing company with a list of clients any firm would be envious of. While this is Ed's second company, it is the first one he has created as a solo founder. He discusses the challenges he faced along the way, why they were founded on the #principle of a #peoplefirst approach, and how this has led to a #collaborative spirit at Fingerpaint Group's core influencing #everything their company does. 🔖 The Unconventional Path podcast highlights successful #entrepreneurs whom you may have never heard of discussing their #successful #businesses, and how the nontraditional path, can result in great, unique stories! 🔖 As someone who is #passionate about becoming a #leader in #business one day, this series is one I'd recommend to other #entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in hearing #personalized #stories about what makes their business different! #MondayPodcastReviews #MPR #AlwaysAimHigh #Storytelling #CompanyCulture #PeopleFirstApproach #PositiveAttitude #LeadersinBusiness
