Project Grace's Level 3 Post-Tensioned Slab pour began at 2:30 AM and concluded at 2:30 PM last Tuesday. Trade Partner, C&C Industrial, employed a concrete pumper truck and a Tower Crane to place 817 cubic yards of 6,000 psi concrete. S & W CONCRETE, LTD. efficiently batched material from two local plants over a continuous 12-hour period and expertly navigated the busy Downtown Wilmington traffic. Monteith Construction, in partnership with Swinerton, is proud to present Building Four, the newest addition to Live Oak Bank's campus. This innovative project, the first of its kind in eastern North Carolina, features a 100% mass timber structural system. With cypress siding, metal panels, and curtain walls, Building Four perfectly complements the campus's serene aesthetic. Thank you to everyone who contributed to bringing this vision to life. This summer, Monteith hosted eleven interns across four regions, seven job sites, and two departments where they gained valuable hands-on experience through mentorship in both field and office settings. The interns participated in an Employee Volunteer Day with WARM NC, conducted site tours of their projects, and collaborated with each department to gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations. The program concluded yesterday with final presentations where they showcased their achievements and reflected on their experiences. Yesterday, we broke ground on the CCU City of Myrtle Beach Theatre. Located in the Arts & Innovation District, the Theatre will be a central performance venue for the University and its students, as well as many city-led events.
