Doesn’t surprise me. His passion for the St Paul Hotel and eventually his own business was second to none. Bill grew up in East Bloomington. We grew up in the same area so I know where it all began for him. It’s a great testament to working hard and being driven to succeed.
One of my first jobs as a Cook. I worked in the Cafe and Banquets under Robert Bach, John Kain and Royal Dahlstrom not to mention many other locations, successful Chefs and Management of Morrissey Hospitality. They've been at the top of the Twin Cites Food and Beverage industry for decades. Bill was an eccentric man, and I learned a great deal from him and the great people he employed. Thank you all!
