Parades, fly-overs and marking the anniversary of #DDay in style 🚴🏼🚴🏼♀️ Over three days in Normandy last week, our Morson charity bike ride team pedalled hard and visited sites including Utah, Omaha and Juno beaches, scenes of some of history's most decisive battles, and paid tribute to those who gave and sacrificed so much, on the 80th anniversary of #DDay 💙🤍❤️ During the trip, wreaths were laid at key memorials on behalf of our Canadian and US teams, including Juno beach, the invasion of which was the responsibility of the First Canadian Army, and near Omaha beach, where thousands of US soldiers lost their lives in the push towards capturing the area. The team raised over £18,000 and counting for our 2024 UK charity partners, #DementiaUK and #CrohnsandColitis as part of the trip. We're proud to have done this in support of our charities and our dedication to supporting the ex-forces community. #WW2 #Normandy #Charity #WeAreMorson #Canada #USA
