Real leadership demonstrated here by ParalympicsGB, it’s sad that in 2024 we are still tackling these issues. Unfortunately, the word ‘Inclusive’ has become a buzz word for some, and whilst I’m sure many have the intentions to be inclusive all too often we have witnessed children be excluded from sport and/or physical activity in a range of provision from educational through to organisational and community sport. Its important to highlight there are a number of organisations, some national funded partners who say they are going to deliver inclusion but quite simply, they either do this in a ‘limited’ easy to roll out way, or funding is directed to strategic personnel to engage with the existing community clubs in a way that I see as an exercise to extract participation rates from them in a community setting. This can at times seem more frustrating when the same funded organisations apply for additional national funding from sector partners such as National Governing Bodies Its accepted but should not be, as it has potential to double count participation figures should scrutiny panels look deeper into this behaviour. All this whilst our children, in mainstream schools and nestled within our communities miss out on opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity because of the limitations There are some amazing examples of best practice in Northern Ireland with Disability Sport NI, in Bristol with Nova Sport, in the West Midlands with Andy C. Nicola Turner MBE and the United By 2022 team with the #GiftOfTheGames programme and with Geoff Maltby as part of an engagement programme for the 2022 games which resulted in junior development and growth in para/adaptive sports and clubs across Leicestershire. Inclusion should be built in to the delivery system not bolted on! Baroness Sandy Verma #Inclusion #Sport #Community #EqualPlay 🙏🏼❤️

Could one of our TV Media Companies host a "Live Debate" between the Government and Opposition?!? The Country needs to know both the short and long term economic strategies from both sides of the House. So far, its merely political rhetorics tussling for power and greed, consequently has lost touch with the economic realities Papua New Guineans are faced with every day! Our media companies need to do a lot better in order to improve their standard of journalism. #livedebate #economicissues- #govt #png

Political Assistant to Conservative Group at South Cambridgeshire District Council | President of the Europinion Institute for Research | Director at Europinion | ALL VIEWS MY OWN
Reintroducing national service is in principle a good idea. We see it work in Scandinavia and know it reduces social marginalisation and promotes community cohesion. But, as I argue here, it risks alienating voters right before a General Election because it sounds like conscription. It’s not. It’s more of a civil community service. But voters might not see it like that. Read my latest article for Europinion to find out more👇 #nationalservice #Conservatives #Labour #Sunak #Starmer #election #policy #politics #UK
This morning, we have our third individual response to the Conservative Party's announcement of plans to introduce mandatory national service for British 18-year-olds. Daniel Sillett criticises the timing of the Conservative Party’s policy announcement saying it could undermine their General Election campaign - despite supporting national service in principle. He argues that while the concept could bolster community spirit and impart valuable skills, as evidenced by its success in Scandinavia, the announcement's timing will alienate voters. Sillett believes the policy, beneficial in theory, is overshadowed by the election and the potential public misinterpretation that it would lead to military conscription, rather than fostering civil service. Which Europinion commentator do you agree with most on National Service? For Kingston-Cox, it is unilateral support. For Wilkin, it can only be a voluntary service. https://lnkd.in/eBtBvxuw #europinion #nationalservice #rishisunak #ge2024 #conservativeparty

Britain’s new Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has issued a warning about "tough decisions" ahead as his Labour government begins addressing the numerous crises plaguing the country’s struggling public sector. Just 24 hours into his term, Starmer convened a meeting with his newly appointed cabinet on Saturday, later stating that repairing Britain’s "broken" public services would be a lengthy process. On Sunday, he plans to embark on a tour of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, followed by a summit with England’s metropolitan mayors. This indicates a strategy to involve local governments more deeply in what is traditionally a highly centralised British administration. #KeirStarmer #UKPrimeMinister #LabourGovernment #ToughDecisions #PublicSectorCrisis #BrokenServices #BritainChallenges #NewCabinet #UKPolitics #RebuildingBritain #LocalGovernance #DevolvedNations #PublicServiceReform #StarmerTour #ScotlandWalesNIreland #EnglandMayors #LocalInvolvement #BritishAdministration #PoliticalLeadership #LabourAgenda

NOTHING IS " IMPOSSIBLE" TO ACCOMPLISH ! Simply because, I can learn by listening and recalling whatever I hear, see and/or read IRRESPECTIVE of person, place, subject, trade or circumstances that I pass by or with!
It's merely common sense to realize and predict who will win in the next Election of The USA and India to be the President and the Prime Minister respectively; and why?! Simply because, the number of AGGRIEVED Muslim voters PLUS other liberal minded non-Muslim voters is far and fairly less than THAT OF the anti-Muslim voters irrespective of parties to contest; THE US-PRESIDENT Joe Biden shall obviously win THE UP-COMING ELECTION to reelect and remain in power ; similarly AND FOR THE SAME REASON AND STATISTICS, THE PRIME MINISTER Narendra Modi of India shall also obviously WIN THE UP-COMING ELECTION TO reelect and remain in power!
Historians rank Biden as the 14th-best president...Trump is ranked last
