Kevin is a community health worker with ChristianaCare (one of our partners in Delaware) and is assigned to help dozens of patients with mental and behavioral health challenges. Men’s Health Week is celebrated each year as the week leading up to and including Father’s Day. The purpose of Men’s Health Week is to heighten the awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys. This week gives health care providers, public policy makers, the media, and individuals an opportunity to encourage men and boys to seek regular medical advice and early treatment for disease and injury. The response has been overwhelming with hundreds of awareness activities in the USA and around the globe. Let's encourage the men in our lives to: 1. Check your daily habits - what healthy habits can you add? 2. Schedule a doctor's appointment - how are your vitals? 3. Connect with your community - what relationships can you pour into? 4. Share your story - can you write your story or share it orally with someone?
