Isn’t the summer month of August meant to equal lots of chilled, relaxed people around? Apparently not. Instead I’m hearing a lot of stress and overwhelm right now. But what’s the answer? At Fired Up Leaders a tool we introduce all clients to early on is mental fitness training. There’s so many fantastic outputs to this programme such as managing change more easily; being kinder to yourself and more understanding of others; increasing your emotional intelligence. Another, is it helps you to manage stress much more effectively, with previous participants stating ‘things don’t get me down so much’ and ‘I’m bouncing back much more quickly from problems’.
