We're in the middle of the summer season and, in addition to enjoying moments outside with an ice cream, out and about with friends and family or even at work, we need to take extra care of ourselves during the heatwaves. Here is your reminder to pay particular attention to the following points. 🚨 💚 Heat stress can vary depending on wind, sunlight and your own condition. Don't rely solely on the temperature display and watch out for warning signs such as dizziness, nausea or headaches. 😎 Sun cream is your best friend in summer – and not too little of it! The average adult needs 35 ml to achieve the recommended sun protection. Difficult to measure? Use the tablespoon comparison: two tablespoons per leg and for the torso, one each for the arms and your face. 🚗 The heat generated in closed rooms, for example in cars, should not be underestimated. At an outside temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, the temperature in a car reaches 27 degrees after 10 minutes and 46 degrees after an hour. With summer temperatures of 40 degrees, it can even reach over 60 degrees in the car after an hour. So, watch out for your human and animal passengers! 🌞 Offices can also get very hot in summer, especially in city centers and when lots of colleagues come together. So, as always: drink enough, take regular breaks and make sure you cool down. Take care of yourselves and your colleagues – health always comes first. #MSIGEU #MSIG #wetakecare #staysafe #summertips #health #summer
