Cameras rolling in 5, 4, 3, 2…. Week 8 sure was something special. The whole experience was something new, totally unbelievable, but also so much fun!!! The Good Line crew came in to film us throughout this week because they were working on making a commercial for Adobe Acrobat. They filmed us going about our day, working on our projects, and capturing all the fun moments. We got to learn about AI for Designers with Deron Gopie, an experience designer from Beyond. He taught about the types of AI designers use and how generative AI works. Deron even showed us how to use Adobe Firefly. It was fun and impressive to see AI generate images based on the prompts we created. Tarrea T. also stopped by and provided us with insightful feedback as we worked on our capstone projects. My team and I worked on the layout of our app by making lo-fi sketches through a Crazy 8s activity. Tarrea gave us some advice on making our app’s features more structured and personalized for users. On our last day of filming, we visited and toured Adobe HeadQuarters in San Francisco. This was the highlight of the week because we got to explore a design company and hear from its employees. We heard from a panel of Adobe Staff members about their experiences and stories in regard to how they got to where they are today. Then, we got to learn more about how to utilize Acrobat in beneficial ways. I appreciated the panel members because they all drove home the point of putting ourselves out there and wearing our passion on our sleeves. Overall, this panel helped me understand that things don’t always go the way you plan, but certain things happen for a reason. A huge thanks to BRIDGEGOOD for making this all possible. Firefly Image 3 will bring massive advancements to quality and control to users. This includes higher-quality image generations, better understanding of prompts, new levels of detail and variety and significant improvements that enable fast creative expression and ideation. Adobe’s newest Firefly model delivers photorealistic quality like never before with better lighting, positioning, attention to detail, advancements to text display and more. Available today in the Firefly web application, users can access Firefly Image 3 in features including Structure Reference and Style Reference in the Text to Image module and a new Generative Expand feature in the Generative Fill module, which enables users to expand and change the aspect ratio of images.

Adobe just announced the addition of new video generation capabilities to its Firefly AI model and Premiere Pro at the company’s MAX Conference, alongside a slew of major AI updates across its creative software ecosystem. 🔑 The new Firefly Video Model is now in limited public beta and allows users to generate video from text prompts or images in Firefly and Adobe Premiere. 🔑 Video capabilities include cinematic video, 2D and 3D animations, text graphics, b-roll, and screen effects to blend with normal footage. 🔑 The model is trained exclusively on Adobe Stock and public domain content and is designed to be ‘commercially safe.’ 🔑 Premiere Pro gets Generative Extend, a Firefly-powered tool for easily extending clips, smoothing transitions, and fine-tuning edits.
