Can’t believe this journey has come to an end. Really enjoyed this class with some key takeaways. Special thanks to both the Professors for giving us the real insights of Product Analytics 😊🤩 #Thunderbird School of Global Management #datadrivenworld
Thrilled to share my recent teaching experience at Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University! Collaborating with Suman Bhattacharya, PhD & our incredible TA Ms. Akanksha Vir, we had the honor of teaching a group of exceptional students 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Their final projects were nothing short of impressive—showcasing innovative ideas, meticulous planning, and advanced technical skills in data-driven product design. Their talent was so evident that I encouraged each student to present their final projects to bigger world. 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬: if you're on the hunt for brilliant minds for your summer internships, look no further! This cohort is brimming with exceptional talent. It's been a privilege to teach and mentor these future leaders. #data #productdesign #ThunderbirdSchool #ASU #internshipopportunity

I once employed a young graduate who had spent her summer internship with us. During her final year, she had a class project on a team with two other students. They had to solve a challenge in their village using technology. The problem they solved is not germane to the story, but suffice to say, it went went. Infact, they received so much positive feedback that they submitted the project for a technology pitch competition being hosted by a local hub. They won! The exciting thing about winning was that they received an office at the local hub ... air-conditioned at that, as well as support and advice from the hub. The idea was that whatever they needed to build and scale the solution, they would have. But, after weeks and weeks, the solution they had fashioned was no where closer to built, let alone scaled. In asking her what happened, she said something interesting that I have never forgotten. She said that when they noticed the challenge in the village they were beyond eager and hungry to solve it. But now that they had gotten a comfortable air-conditioned office in the city-based hub .... the cool air blowing on their faces from the air-conditioner had made them even forget the problem they were attempting to solve in the first place. "Necessity is the mother of invention." It think about that time and time again particularly when it comes to frugal innovation. There is something about not having the problem yourself. Not experiencing the constraint yourself distances the very challenge you seek to solve. One's nuanced memory of the environment and the resources required, fades. So even though highly-constrained environment can be difficult locations for frugal innovation projects to operate, there is a direct effect between the experiential awareness of the environment in which the frugal innovation product will be used in, and the product-market fit. It is an important factor to consider when scoping your next frugal project.

Talk to strangers; good things happen! Every great initiative starts with a simple conversation. That’s how this unique, first-of-its-kind strategic innovation partnership between RMIT University and Australian Red Cross Lifeblood happened. Massive thanks to Susan Feitoza and Elisa Interligi for their tireless efforts, and to Alex Young MAICD and richard walsh for their support in formulating this. As Andrew Scott, Lifeblood's Director of Innovation and Product Development, says this is simply an opportunity for great minds to 'think big and learn fast.' This collaboration crosses multiple disciplines, involving RMIT’s College of Business and Law, STEM College, and College of Design and Social Context, ensuring a comprehensive approach to innovation. As we look forward to the exciting projects this partnership will bring, it's clear that the fusion of Lifeblood's mission with RMIT's academic prowess is a powerful formula for societal benefit. Here's to innovation, collaboration, and the profound impact we can achieve when we work together for the greater good. #partnerships #openinnovation #collaboration #innovation
We’re excited to partner with RMIT University to co-develop solutions that benefit the health and wellbeing of Australians. Under this alliance, our Innovation team can not only open pathways for students to dive into real-world experiences via internships and projects, but we also gain access to RMIT’s cutting-edge facilities and knowledgebase. We can’t wait to see this innovation incubator erupt with life-changing solutions! #lifebloodau
