Still raw sewage, turds, tampons and shitty toilet paper running down the street in Lambourn today, losing count of how long this has been happening now! Good to see the “exceptional weather” that’s clearly responsible for it………..! Thames Water, Environment Agency, Ofwat, Steve Barclay (if anyone can find him!), which one of you will blink first and resolve this for the community in this village………? #sewagescandal #sickofsewage

Really important work happening here! Building climate change resilience is an important step in recovering rapidly declining salmonid populations.
In 2021, we announced our water stewardship target to replenish 120% of the freshwater volume we consume, on average, across our offices and data centers by 2030. Today, for World Water Day, we're sharing a look at four partnerships underway. I am excited to be able to contribute to this work and especially about our partnership with River Partners. https://lnkd.in/gbKPWBpi Douglas Gayeton, Douglas Heske, Terrel Hutton, Alex Karolyi, Julie Rentner- Harrison, Austin Stevenot, Cindy Muller, Tara Varghese, Mike Werner, Robin Bass, Erin Beller, Emily Ma, Kathy Cacciola, Amy Emel, Alexa Arena, Brid Morton, Nathan Gassmann, Malcolm Omond, Chavanne Hanson, Emeline Fellus, Jessica Bollhoefer, Matt Hood, Kate Randolph, Lauren Sparandara #circular, #watergoals #water #conservation

💧In honor of National Water Quality Month, we want to highlight some of the ways we have contributed to protecting Utah's water quality. Our team has a long history of supporting water quality initiatives in Utah. For instance, in 2011, we assisted Weber County in managing Emergency Watershed Protection projects. We provided essential review services and acted as the County's agent in managing the program, including restoring multiple Weber River segments and connected structures. One key approach Utah uses to protect water quality is developing and implementing Watershed Protection Plans (WPPs). These comprehensive strategies are designed to maintain or improve water quality within a watershed, addressing specific water quality issues to provide long-term sustainability. It’s interesting to know how water quality is in the area where I live.
💧 The #GreatUKWaterBlitz is here! This weekend, from 7-10 June, over 2️⃣ 5️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ individuals across the UK, as well as our existing FreshWater Watch groups, will go out and measure their local water quality. With this data, we can create a snapshot of the water health across the country and take action to restore our rivers and freshwater systems. 📋 Although we have now closed sign-ups for the June WaterBlitz, you can already sign up to our next WaterBlitz in September ➡ https://lnkd.in/e5GVxhpE #CitzienScience #WaterTesting #WaterPollution #RiverPollution #EndSewagePollution #SaveOurRivers #WaterQuality

San Diego County has large water needs considering our population size and the fact that we live in a dry climate. That is why the The City of San Diego is currently implementing their Pure Water intiiative to provide more localized control over drinking water. A majority of the water comes from outside of the juridiction. It is impressive to see that they will be using wastewater to provide an additional source of drinking water to the general public. Learn more about the process of cleaning up this wastewater with the video below. Let us know what you think in the comments below! #environment #banningandson #plumbing https://lnkd.in/gdcbt6DE
