Nearly 3,000 lives were lost, and with them, countless families were changed forever. In the face of unspeakable loss, we also witnessed incredible acts of heroism—from first responders who ran toward danger to ordinary people who stepped up to help however they could. The impact of 9/11 rippled far beyond that single day. It reshaped our world—our security, our politics, our communities. It ignited wars that spanned decades, leaving lasting scars for both soldiers and civilians. Many are still living with the effects of that day, carrying the weight of loss and sacrifice. What They Never Tell You About War War, beyond what we may think of it, is a tragedy in its rawest form. It destroys homes, lives, and futures. But its most devastating effect is on children—the youngest and most vulnerable members of society. These children are often caught in a crossfire when conflict comes up, and while the physical wounds of war may heal over time, the mental scars they carry are far more difficult to erase. I’ve often asked myself: why do we still find ourselves entangled in wars, even while being a global society? Beyond the geopolitical reasons, what is it about humanity that compels some of us to choose violence? And more importantly, what happens to those who grow up in the midst of war who are too young to understand the reasons for war but are old enough to feel its impact? The Innocence Shattered by War Children deserve a world where laughter, play, happiness and curiosity are their daily companions. Such a world gives children atmosphere for growth and development. Yet, this ideal world that children require becomes... Continue reading this post through the link below 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 https://lnkd.in/ddKQUNHT #mentalhealth #war #violence

Did all of you know that when there is war in a country, this country is lost for good. War has a finalizing effect on all mankind. Everyone cheers when war starts because their country is hurting another country. All of a sudden the tide turns and then they don't know what to do. Businesses start to leave their once luxurious stance. Now you have extra work to do to get your schedule done. War takes away from other people. Food is a source of living. Many people don't want to acknowledge this. Than you have people who are too high to even look down. or maybe even no caring about the other persons only your valuables. Valuables don't buy life. You also need people to exist or succeed. Beware on what you wish for. It always has a return when least expected.
