A typical health insurance conversation with an employee: "So you're going to pay this premium. If you need to go to the doctor, you'll pay this copay. If you need surgery, you'll pay this deductible. Oh, once you've met that deductible, you'll pay that coinsurance. But then that's it... until next year when because you hit your deductible the price goes up." We don't like these conversations! That's why we work to put in plan designs that eliminate out-of-pocket cost, contain high cost claims, and put CARE back in healthcare! #ANewDawnInBenefits #newdawn #employeebenefits #benefits #benefitsconsultant #benefitsstrategy #csuite #humanresources

Initially burdened with overwhelming medical bills due to the lack of her own health insurance, Shambhavi had sought assistance from OneAssure after undergoing ovarian cystectomy surgery. Have you ever faced such a challenge? As the founder of OneAssure, I believe health insurance is an investment and not an expense. So, before investing in one, you should consider: 💡 Choosing a plan that provides comprehensive coverage which means, it should at least, include expenses like hospitalisation, room rent, ambulance charges, & consumables. 💡 Always check the waiting period for each policy, I suggest a 1 or 2 yr waiting period is best when it comes to choosing a policy. 💡 Compare different policies to ensure affordability without compromising on benefits. 💡 Additional features added to your existing policy can help cater to your evolving healthcare needs. Please check the comments if you need any help in buying or understanding your policy #healthinsurance #OneAssure #Medical #Bills #insurance

Genetic and epigenetic testing for patients in the US should be conducted in Europe to avoid the financial repercussions of determining pre-existing conditions in the US. Such practices can lead to unfair financial outcomes for patients, highlighting a critical need for reform. Where are the checks and balances from our politicians? Where are the patient advocates in Congress? Senators and congressmen, as you live longer, you too will become patients. It is imperative to protect both yourselves and the public from these deceptive and predatory insurance practices. We need robust policies that safeguard patient rights and ensure fair treatment for all. #PatientAdvocacy #ProtectPatients #HealthcareReform #FairInsurancePractices #GeneticTesting #EpigeneticTesting #HealthcareRights #USPolitics #Congress #Senate #InsuranceReform #PatientProtection #HealthcareEquity
Junk health insurance policies should be illegal.🤬 What patient, upon receiving this letter, would NOT interpret it to mean that authorized procedure was going to be covered by their plan?!?!?🤔 My client went into back surgery under the assumption that his (crappy non-ACA compliant) insurance would cover charges according to his in-network benefits (you know, because he received a letter stating that the procedure was a) authorized, and b) covered by the plan). After surgery, he received a $90k+ bill from the hospital. The surgery charges were denied due to a pre-existing condition. 🤬🤬🤬 I'm 1000% certain that it could have been determined at the time of prior authorization whether the patient had been treated for this back issue prior to his becoming effective on the crap policy. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 How long are we going to let this keep happening to innocent healthcare consumers? 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 #patientadvocacy #medicalbillssuck #tohellwithjunkhealthinsurancepolicies #fixitJesus

When it comes to health insurance, understanding the fine print is crucial. Recently, I had a client who was about to undergo cataract surgery. While he was initially focused on the coverage amount, we took the time to discuss the limitations of standard health insurance plans. In India, most health insurance policies cover basic monofocal lenses for cataract surgery. While these lenses can effectively treat cataracts, they may not provide the best visual clarity or accommodate specific needs like reading without glasses. My client was interested in advanced lenses that offered better vision quality. By understanding the limitations of his coverage and the additional costs involved, he was able to make an informed decision about his surgery. Key takeaway: When considering health insurance for any procedure always take time to understand the fine print. Knowing the specific coverage limitations can help you set realistic expectations and avoid any surprises down the line. #healthinsurance #insurancetips
