"I’m happy where I am today so why should I consider new things?” A candidate said this to me 3 weeks ago, and today they signed a contract for their dream job because they kept an open mind to seeing what else is out there. After a little bit of back and forth, we agreed that despite being happy where they were, there was no harm in seeing what else is out there. THEIR NEW JOB · 10% increase on their current salary. · More flexibility when it comes to working from home. · Paid training and certifications. · Working in a industry sector which really excites them. This proves that even when you’re happy where you work today, there COULD be something even better out there without you knowing it. By considering new things, worst-case scenario you stay put in a role you’re happy with… Ben.VanAurich@staffhostdigital.com +44 01494 917092 #Recruitment #NewOpportunities #Cloud #DevOps #CareerGrowth

Software Engineer | Proficient in .NET, C#, SQL | Data Engineering Enthusiast | Collaboration & Data-Driven
I've been working extensively with legacy ASP.NET technologies and have developed a strong foundation in web development, problem-solving, and project management. However, I'm eager to transition into more modern tech roles! Currently I am working on getting some Azure certifications, but Id loves some insight into other avenues to land a new role! The challenge I'm facing is getting past initial contacts and first-round interviews for these roles. I believe that my skills and experiences are valuable, but I'm struggling to convey this effectively to potential employers. 1) How did you leverage your legacy skills and experiences to break into modern tech roles? 2) Any tips for optimizing resumes and LinkedIn profiles to highlight adaptability and a commitment to learning? 3) How did you handle interviews when your recent experience was primarily with legacy technologies? Any advice, insights, or resources you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for your support and guidance. 🙏 #TechRoles #CareerAdvice #LearningAndDevelopment

DevOps Engineer || AWS CDK || Linux || Jenkins || Git || CI/CD || Docker || Kubernetes || Terraform || Python || Ansible || Maven || Prometheus || Grafana || 3x Azure. Senior Analyst Ex Hcl-Tech Employee.
Interview Q/A :- Consider a REPOST if it is Useful. "You have two applications deployed in separate AWS accounts, and you need to establish connectivity between them. What AWS services or configurations would you utilize, and why?" There are several effective approaches to connect applications in different AWS accounts: VPC Peering: Set up VPC peering between the VPCs hosting the applications. This allows instances in both VPCs to communicate securely as if they are on the same network. VPN Connection: Establish a VPN connection between the VPCs or on-premises networks associated with each AWS account. This ensures secure communication over the internet. AWS Direct Connect: Create a dedicated network connection using AWS Direct Connect between the on-premises network and the VPCs. This provides a reliable and consistent network experience. Transit Gateway: Deploy a Transit Gateway in one AWS account and attach VPCs from both accounts. It acts as a central hub for routing traffic between VPCs, simplifying connectivity management. AWS PrivateLink: Utilize AWS PrivateLink to securely access services across VPCs without exposing traffic to the public internet. PrivateLink establishes private connectivity using Elastic Network Interfaces (ENIs). Cross-Account IAM Roles: Set up IAM roles to allow secure access between applications in different AWS accounts without sharing credentials. This ensures controlled access to resources. What other methods or strategies would you consider for connecting applications across AWS accounts?
