Almost every doctor I speak with is juggling high patient loads, a situation that is challenging for both the physician and the patient. Doctors are stretched thin trying to provide the best care they can despite time constraints. This often leads to burnout, and decreased job satisfaction. Patients, meanwhile, feel they are not receiving the personalized attention they need. They may feel rushed during appointments, with pressing concerns unaddressed. Enter CenterWell Senior Primary Care- Our approach at CenterWell is focused on ensuring that both physicians and patients have a satisfactory experience. Physicians at CenterWell manage a balanced patient load. This ensures they can spend more time with each patient, addressing their concerns thoroughly while still maintaining a good work-life balance. Patients at CenterWell feel more heard and cared for. We believe that every patient deserves quality time with their physician, a belief that shines through in our longer appointment times and comprehensive care approach. By addressing the root of the problem in healthcare - high patient loads - CenterWell is creating a better environment for both physicians and patients. Do you want to be a part of a practice like this? I am actively interviewing for roles in Lexington, KY and Kansas City. Drop me a line and let’s talk. #physicianjobs #physicianburnout #patientcare #valuebasedhealthcare

Physicians! Are You a Direct Primary Care Lurker?? 👀 I am here to help you make the leap! I first learned about direct primary care in 2017. In my heart, I knew it was the only way to ethically practice medicine. But I was too scared of the business world. I was too saddled in debt I just didn’t know how to get started. Then came the moral injury and the burnout. Then came my termination from my employed position due to the failure of my Healthcare system. If I planned to stay in medicine, then I had to leap. I am now a year into my direct primary care practice, and I have never been happier with my career. My future is still uncertain, but I begin every day with joy for what’s possible rather than the despair of what was inevitable when I was employed. I don’t want you to wait five years to start your practice like I did. I am here to help. 📣Let me know what you need to start your direct primary care journey! Please share your questions and repost to your audience. let’s bring over our physician colleagues to the freedom of direct primary care! #dpc #primarycare #dpcalliance

❤️🩹Tʜᴇ Aʀᴛ ᴏꜰ Rᴇᴀꜱꜱᴜʀɪɴɢ Mʏ Pᴀᴛɪᴇɴᴛꜱ 🏥 I like being in the #hospital. As weird as that may sound to some people, I sincerely get a sense of purpose and fulfillment taking care of patients. I enjoy interacting with my #patients and thinking about what possible pathology could be going on and how to solve it so that they become well and stay well. It's been only a few months of practising medicine with close supervision from my senior colleagues. I see it as a privilege to have people trust me with their health and bodies. I actively listen to my patients with great respect, empathy, compassion and an increasing level of competence. I've learned and am still learning many clinical and soft skills needed in caring for my patients. Every time I come back home, I reflect on some of the patients I saw. I study some more about their cases and say a prayer for them. 😊🙏 One practice I've been intentional about is #𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 my patients. While there should be complete transparency in communicating the medical findings. It is also important to cater to patients' emotions. Reassuring patients is a vital aspect of #healthcare that can significantly impact patient satisfaction, trust, and outcomes. A reassuring approach can help alleviate anxiety, fear, and uncertainty, creating a positive experience for patients. Tᴇᴄʜɴɪqᴜᴇꜱ ꜰᴏʀ Rᴇᴀꜱꜱᴜʀɪɴɢ Pᴀᴛɪᴇɴᴛꜱ 💡 📌Listen attentively to patients' concerns. 📌Show understanding and kindness. 📌Explain diagnoses, treatments, and procedures clearly. 📌Use nonverbal cues like nodding and smiling. 📌Acknowledge patients' feelings and concerns. 📌Provide patients with resources and information. 📌Follow up on commitments and maintain continuity of care. To every healthcare professional, I believe that with the art of reassurance we can achieve better health outcomes. I am committed to mastering this art to improve my patients' lives. Private practice in primary care has been in decline for years. When I first started recruiting there were many more private groups and solo physicians. Consolidation, M&A and retirement has lowered the # of private practice groups significantly. Managing a medical practice's budget can often be a daunting task for you as a physician. The balancing act between financial management and providing quality healthcare can turn into a tightrope walk, pulling you away from your primary focus - the patient. Enter CenterWell Senior Primary Care. At the heart of our operations is a distinct model that effectively addresses this issue. A key player in our approach is the Center Administrator, who takes on the pivotal role of managing our practice budget. This allows you to concentrate solely on your areas of expertise. But that's not all! Our unique Care Team model of practice ensures that every aspect of patient care is looked after. From the patient's arrival to their regular check-ups, each step is meticulously planned and executed. This model allows us to allocate resources effectively, keeping our budget in check without compromising the quality of care. By solving the budgetary challenges, CenterWell empowers you to focus on what truly matters - delivering unparalleled patient care and continually honing your professional skills. 🦂 What are the top 3 PITFALLS of nursing understaffing and their related legal allegations? 1- Neglect and Quality of Care: Understaffing can lead to neglect and poor patient care, resulting in negligence claims against healthcare facilities. 2- Regulatory Violations: Failure to maintain adequate staffing levels can lead to violations of federal and state regulations. 🗃 3- Corporate Accountability: Decisions that prioritize cost-cutting over adequate staffing makes corporate leaders wide open for litigation for knowingly compromising patient care. These issues highlight potential legal challenges that can arise from failing to maintain proper staffing levels that are conducive to patient safety.⚖ If you have a medical malpractice case where staffing played a key role, you should: 💣 Highlight how understaffing breaches the standard of care, leading to your client’s harm. 💣 Gather evidence of systemic understaffing where applicable to establish negligence. ============== Need a question answered about your medical case?
