A lot to like about last nights founder Q&A at Mission Kitchen where we got to ask Amy Moring from Hunter & Gather and Christopher Kong from Better Nature Tempeh all the questions. 🍜Being at Mission Kitchen - still waiting on my food product idea just so I can become a member here. 🍜Listening to 2 founders who took the hard path to create categories from scratch. One of the toughest challenges there is but also how you grow the fastest if/when you get traction. 🍜Intimate vibe that felt more like a conversation - not often you get to do that in a small group. Helped by how nice and transparent the speakers were. 🍜Amy Win's legendary tempeh dal Both founders created a category no-one else is in, started with a small (but not too small) niche rather than going after everyone and invested in relentless customer education. All the things I believe in - always inspiring hearing the success it brings others. No coincidence they’re both B Corps either.
