It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and according to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., "1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime"! Knowledge and early detection save lives. My beautiful mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2014, just one month before my daughter was born. Fast forward 9 years, and she is still here to enjoy her granddaughter growing up! Last month, she had her second surgery, and we are so thankful that her nodule was negative.
