I loved hearing Bersin and RedThread Research talk through their 2024 predictions last week. Transformation continues to be a hot topic from both a talent and tech perspective. As jobs evolve and companies look more to their internal talent marketplaces, it's imperative to think about what you need to do to become a skills-based organization, from everything to hiring, promotion, and project staffing, but also to validate that the skills are actually there. HR, learning, and IT will need to be in lockstep as they navigate these changes together. These decisions can't and shouldn't be made in a silo. Sharing an article that I think captures the spirit of things well, high points include: Upscaling technology is a strategic imperative for organizations in 2024, facilitating talent retention and growth. Embracing AI tools, data-driven decision-making, and employee well-being initiatives are crucial aspects of technological advancement. Recognizing and valuing employees, investing in training, and supporting meaningful causes round out the approach to fostering a positive workplace culture. Are you ready? #hrtransformation #aiadoption #skillsdevelopment
