The point of a short term program should be to set the client up for success after the fact!
The results you can get will be capped by the amount of time no matter how good or “optimal” the program is.
Teach people how to be self sufficient and independent with their fitness as best as you can.
There’s always a benefit to having a coach but you shouldn’t always NEED one.
So this is a little bit of a different client testimonial because I can't claim credit for any of the things that she's done. But you can see this is a former client of mine who texted me out of the blue yesterday saying that she's lost 30 lbs. Like that's that's nuts. So a little bit of a back story. So we started working together last year we did a three month commitment to work together and and part of that three months was to. For me to educate her and and set her up for success. So not only teacher, you know some of the things I've worked about how working out and eating better but to set her up for success on her own. So you can see our last text conversation was in June and that's when our three months together ended and we had some some small amounts of success. But it was definitely not smooth sailing for her getting into a consistent routine look at what she's done on her own like the whole point of a lot of. These short term coaching programs and coaching services, whether it's six weeks or or in my case 3 months like. Teach someone how to be successful after the fact. Look what she's doing on her own and it's only going to get better because she we essentially taught her how to fish. So she's just gonna continue to make great results, which I think is the real win, so. Bravo.
(Most of your inconsistent workout attendance is due to lack of accountability
this doesn't mean you need a personal trainer, but finding a workout buddy can significantly help!
you need to establish:
-Regular check-ins
-Mutual goals
-Support during tough days
-Shared workout sessions
Pairing up will enhance your commitment and make fitness a more enjoyable experience! :)
There are many benefits to Strength Training.
💪🏻Of course, form and technique are important but the bigger challenge for most busy professionals (and moms and dads and students, etc!) is actually making the time to incorporate strength training into our daily routine. (or at least 3-4x/week).
