Workshop team leader, 9hrs work with 2 rest days per month and 21 leave paid days.
Location: Iraq - Najaf City

Duties and Responsibilities
· Identifies cause of malfunction.
· Documents, on data base, diagnosis methods utilized, as well as proper work steps to resolve issues after thoroughly understanding vehicle history and/or contacting the customer for additional comments on malfunction.
· Transfers and explains workshop a to the concerned technicians, including generating the required parts list for repair work.
· Advises and supports workshop personnel in difficult diagnosis cases; may even perform the work himself in critical cases.
· Conducts function / quality checks to ensure sustainability of repair work conducted, using the support of retrofit or complex special equipment.
· Performs final inspection to ensure degree of repairs, roadworthiness, functional reliability and safety using various measuring instruments; may also conduct final test drive.
· Completes the vehicle repair report outlining faults, description of cause and repair work conducted.
· Upon completion of job, moves vehicle to parking lot, documenting its location.
· Ensures that technicians safeguard tools and equipment utilized during repair work, as well as ensures that work space is cleaned upon completion of the job.
· Organizes the sequence of job cards, informs technician of time limitations for job completion and monitors their performance time.
· Generates a daily report for workshop productivity and efficiency
· Records all information on data base and prepares the relevant paperwork for payment purposes.
· Handles the special tools store and issues the special tools used by the technicians and ensure safe storage.
· Ordering any needed special tools from suppliers.
· Ensure that customer vehicles are fixed right from the first time.
· Ensure that repairs are carried out within promised delivery time and estimated cost.
· Order and follow up parts orders with Parts Department.
· Inspect and test drives vehicle on which repairs are performed.
· Return those vehicles failing the quality control inspection to the technician who performed work.
· Assist the service advisors in identifying or diagnosing vehicle problems when needed.
· Proper utilization of service facilities e.g. equipment, SST. Manuals, diagnostic tool.
· Maintain high standard of premise cleanliness and a high level of self-hygiene, and uniform appearance for himself and his group.
· Provide the servicing technician with an accurate description of the reasons for returning the vehicle to assist and guide him to solve the problem.
· Advise management regarding technician job performance, training needs, and other specific areas.
