National Brain Tumor Society’s Post

With tremendous gratitude and respect, we acknowledge Dr. Terri Armstrong and celebrate her retirement from the NCI Center for Cancer Research. In addition to many notable achievements, Dr. Armstrong's foundational research in patient-reported outcomes helped CERN 08-02 to receive NCCN approval for recurrent adult ependymoma. Her enthusiasm and support for Ependymoma Awareness Day and the importance of education will be a lasting legacy. Join us in wishing her well! https://lnkd.in/eCBcNnQ6

While I know it is not nearly the end of your work to benefit patients and advance the field of neuro-oncology, it is a moment to appreciate you Dr. Armstrong for all your leadership, mentorship, scholarship and collaborative work to improve the measurement of quality of life for patients with brain tumors and for being such a important and transformative co-leader of the neuro-oncology branch of the National Cancer Institute these past years. You've made a huge difference have and continue to be a great partner to National Brain Tumor Society
