Effective leadership isn't possible without trust . This was the key takeaway for one of the delegates on the first module of our Women in Leadership programme, and this concept is the basis of all our training. Building trust as a leader is key to creating an environment where your team feels safe to experiment and communicate openly, and also means the end of micromanagement. Johnson Controls recently released our 2023 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Annual Report. There's a lot of great content on there and one of the highlights is leadership development section. The report highlights our numerous programs for leaders of all levels of seniority and diversity. Today, I received the certificate for ATHENA International’s Becoming ATHENA Leadership Program as part of The WIT Network’s Emerging Leaders. Thanks to TD and my leaders for giving me this oppprtunity to continuously improve my leadership skills. This three months intensive program included eight principles of Enlighted leadership around Live Authentically,Learn constantly, Build relationships,Forster collaboration, and more.... This program is more like a reflection of my Leadership journey. It inspired me to encourage more women in leadership positions from technologh and do better for myself.
