NFL Navratna Celebrations held NFL employees, ex employees and Business Associates enthusiastically participated in the Navratna Celebrations of the company in a function held in Noida which was also joined by all the units and marketing offices, through video connectivity. Speaking on the occasion, Dr U Saravanan, C&MD beautifully correlated his determination to achieve Navratna status for NFL with the mythological tale of Denial, Determinations and Creations. He congratulated all the employees of the NFL on achieving this Navratna Status. He credited this Navratna status to ex-employees as per his belief that "There is no present without the past". Besides the Directors, CVO, ED (HR), ex employees, all the Unit Heads, Zonal Managers, Representatives of Union, Officers Association and SC/ST Welfare Association also spoke on the occasion. A cultural program comprising songs, dances, skits and poems were also presented by the Women Employees on the occasion in Noida.

Sh U Saravanan, C&MD, NFL has been conferred with an honoris causa degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Financial Distress, Turnaround & Social Engagements by the Maryland State University, USA. Congratulations to Dr U Saravanan!
