For those angry about high taxes, you need to start lobbying for better management of government resources. Among your focus areas: emergency response & recovery. Several years ago, I went through the 700,000+ transactions in the federal government's Public Assistance program, which reimbursed states and local governments for certain disaster response/recovery costs. I'm the only person to undertake this work. No one at CBO, OMB, GAO, CRS, or FEMA had attempted to analyze these 20 years of expenditures Although the program has been retooled since then (thanks to legislation that passed in 2021 as I recall), I doubt much substantive have been changed. #bureaucracy #bidenadministration #emergencyresponse #emergencyrecovery #disasterassistance #cities #counties #stategovernments #governors #mayors #FEMA #congress #publicadministration #publicpolicy #disasters #wildfires #floods #earthquakes

Through The Rural Partners Network (RPN), federal agencies collaborate to improve access to government resources, staffing, and tools. RPN works in communities to develop improved service delivery models, program processes, and funding priorities for the benefit of rural communities nationwide: https://bit.ly/45MGDAk #NREDA #EconomicDevelopment
