Advance warning of part closure of M25. Junctions 10 and 11 of the M25 will be closed both ways 9pm Friday 12 July to 6am Monday 15 July. Diversions will be in place but heavy congestion and long delays are expected in and around the area. Please only travel if your journey is essential, or choose another form of transport for your journey. Follow our channels to stay up to date with the upcoming M25 closures this year. The link says "Restoring heathland and upgrading the junction". I would imagine that if the first item in the list was genuinely the higher priority there are probably better, cheaper, and less disruptful ways of achieving it, and with far less land use?

The thousands of people trying to get to the Goodwood Fesival of Speed that weekend are going to love this! The A3 from the M25 is the main route in, we took it last year and traffic was nose to tail. Dread to think the impact this will have on the diversion route now 😣
