So many women do not receive the support they need to optimally breastfeed their babies. Notably, #Breastfeeding in public gets easier with practice but we need to treat it as a special meal time for the baby the same we take our meals at public places or food outlets. Support gives mothers confidence and the baby will in turn get sufficient milk. As the World Breastfeeding week comes to close, we must note that #Everyone has a role in Closing the gap to enhance breastfeeding support for our mothers throughout this crucial journey. #PartnersAgainstHunger #ClosingtheGap

Breastfeeding Awareness Week Dr. Sathiya Rathini shares valuable insights on the best ways and times to feed your baby, emphasizing that mothers should choose the method that is most comfortable for them. Three primary feeding methods are discussed: the Football Method, ideal for mothers recovering from a C-section; the Cradle Method, suitable for older babies with stronger neck muscles; and the Cross-Cradle Method, which offers extra support for newborns. For optimal nourishment, breastfeeding sessions should last between 12 to 20 minutes , depending on your baby’s hunger and feeding efficiency. This helps ensure your baby gets both the foremilk and the richer hindmilk, essential for their growth. Join us in celebrating the bond between mother and baby and empowering mothers with the knowledge for successful breastfeeding. #SIMShospital #bestmultispecialityhospital #BreastfeedingAwarenessWeek #Waysand times #MotherAndBabyBond #HealthyStart
