This past summer I worked as an intern for one month in Semvra. I am very grateful to the company for the opportunity and all the knowledge shared with me. I worked in the department of innovation with amazing people who taught me with their impeccable work valuable information about the food industry: the management behind it, the creativity and organization that leads to the creation of products, and the importance of adapting and researching for alternatives that better satisfy consumers' needs.
During that month I worked on researching alternatives according to client demand, creating a report about the useful life of particular products, and building a database about specific products of the company using Excel. This included calculations concerning performance and minimum per production.
One of my favorite parts of the internship was visiting the plant where industrial processes occur. Observing it in action was amazing since it reflects the results of many different areas of the company that combined to make this very efficient process happen.
Adding to all the mentioned, in a more personal aspect, I feel that this experience contributed to my formation as a responsible professional. I was able to strengthen my organization skills, improve my communication skills and build a clear perspective on how a food company works.
