Embarking on this educational journey has provided me with a comprehensive grasp of climate science, efficient communication techniques, and an understanding of pertinent policies and legislation. This foundation empowers me to meaningfully engage and sway the public, policymakers, and various stakeholders. Additionally, it opens up avenues for networking and mastering different activism tactics, instilling confidence in participants to spearhead initiatives and contribute significantly to combating climate change.

In 2023, The Broker and SouthSouthNorth teamed up to facilitate a mutual learning journey with the Southern-based knowledge partners of the Voices for Just Climate Action programme to collectively explore the concept of evidence-based advocacy and share experiences, successes and challenges in using knowledge for climate advocacy in practice. Dive into the intersection of knowledge brokering and advocacy with insights from our exploration. The short read below offers a fresh perspective on leveraging knowledge brokering within advocacy efforts.
