Mental Health Awareness Week starts today. Whilst supporting our people’s mental health is something we take seriously all year, this week offers us an important opportunity to put a spotlight on mental health and ways to encourage positive mental health. As movement is this year’s theme, starting today, we’re running a 5-day walking challenge that is open to our entire workforce. We’re challenging our employees to collectively walk the cumulative miles between our two furthest depots – from our Liskeard depot to our Aberdeen depot - which is a total of 589 miles! To make this feat manageable, this will be a group-based target for the six regions of our business. One in four of us will encounter a problem with our mental health at some stage, so if you’re experiencing any difficulty, know that you’re not alone and help is at hand. #MHAW2024 #mentalhealthawarenessweek #employeewellbeing #support
