This is such an important post because I don't think that folks in other industries fully understand what entertainment team members bring to the table. I made a post about this a few weeks back. As someone who works with all departments - development, field, post, network, studio, branding, etc. I spend some of my time speaking with leaders of other industries about why resumes with mostly entertainment experience are often overlooked. Entertainment and Media can be a bit of an unclear or stigmatized industry, most people don’t know exactly what we do, no matter the department. What I always share is that you want entertainment people working for you because our skillset is so broad, it can be implemented in almost any environment, and most of us are used to handling big budgets, tight calendars, all types of moving pieces, and endless departments and department members. As this situation continues to unfold I hope that #recruiters and #hiringmanagers will reach out to learn more about this pool of talent. It's really an untapped resource. https://lnkd.in/dWgatwY2
