Thank you for sharing your experiences! We all make mistakes, but what matters is who we react when those situations happen. Last year, I wanted to buy several clothing items and online shopping was my only option since that retailer does not have stores in Serbia. After being unable to enter my card information and finish the purchase, I emailed them with the explanation of my situation and screenshot attached. They responded within minutes with instructions about how to check if the problem was on my end. Once we concluded there was something wrong with their system, they quickly identified and resolved the problem. I was able to order the items I wanted less than 24 hours after my initial email to their customer service. Not only did they react fast, but were also super friendly and polite.

One bad experience can lose multiple customers - I couldn’t agree more that every experience matters. Technology is getting smarter and its vital to make sure there is a personal element to it all.

Allie, thanks for sharing. Seems both Instacart and DoorDash recovered from their mistake. However they should have not made them. All companies need to make sure they perform with out error or issue. Those two examples should be taken within by both those companies..not exceptable if you are striving to be the best. One of my experiences was “Saving” the client money! Most business find that the most refreshing asset. We did that at past days at RBS Worldpay ( heritage Worldpay) with processing costs. With service levels still at a very high level. No matter the size of the account, to us they were a National account. That led us to having very successful years from 2005- 2020. And Allie, those high service levels were taught me by NCR at the then “Sugar Camp” in Dayton Ohio Keep winning!
