Starting this month, Advertisers on Google will need to comply with a new policy. The new update falls under the Unacceptable business practices portion of Google's existing misrepresentation policy. The new section will no longer allow ads: "Enticing users to part with money or information by impersonating or falsely implying affiliation with or endorsement by a public figure, brand, or organization." While this update feels like a no-brainer, there must be companies in violation already for Google to add this specific restriction. Good marketing and advertising shouldn't need to lie or misrepresent its offering to attract new audience members. As a rule, don't wait for a policy change to be ethical. Make sure you aren't misleading with your ads or other marketing content. https://lnkd.in/evcCc6df

Real Estate Agent Pro? Stop Buyer Struggles! Close Deals Faster with My Laser-Targeted Facebook & Google Ads
Why is my Google Ads account suspended? Prohibited content: Content that Google doesn’t allow advertisers to use on their platform. Such as illegal products and services, hazardous items, counterfeit goods, any content that might support unlawful activity or hurt others, and content that is discriminatory or incites hatred. Prohibited practices: This category is anything that aims to deceive or manipulate consumers. This can involve cloaking websites or directing users to a temporary landing page. Your ads must match what is on your website or landing page. Otherwise, Google considers it a misrepresentation. Restricted content and features: Any content that is not generally accepted or perhaps heavily regulated. This covers various topics, from drugs to adult entertainment and gambling. Political content, such as campaign advertisements or issue advocacy, is protected under restricted content. Editorial and technical: Of 4 categories, the editorial and technical policy is the most subjective and susceptible to interpretation. One of the requirements is that the websites offer a positive user experience, but it might be challenging to define “not irritating” advertisements. Note: Our explanations are only suggestive and not intended to be all-inclusive. Violations don’t always have to be your fault. So, keeping it safe for their users is your responsibility. Remember, you must not use advertisements to redirect clients to other websites. CTA: Why was your Google Ad account suspended? #googleads #suspended #advertising

Strategically Driven Ad Operations Expert Elevating Campaigns and Client Relations for Accel Digital"
Google Ad Manager has updated its rules to make sure ads are safe and fair for everyone. Here's what's changed I have written in simple to understand 1. Content: Ads can't promote fake or harmful stuff, and content must be original. Don't copy from ChatGPT. 2. Ad Experience: Ads shouldn't be annoying or cover too much of the page. 3. Data Privacy: They're being stricter about how data is collected and used, so make sure users agree to it. 4. Traffic Tip: Don't use Facebook Swipe Up Traffic, it's risky. Also, spread traffic across all your latest articles, not just one. 5. Keep Updating: Update your site often because Google checks it regularly. 6. Starting Out: You need at least 30 articles if you're new. If you break these rules, your account could be suspended or even shut down. Check out Google's resources for help, and if you're confused, ask for assistance. Following these rules will keep your account safe and your ads running smoothly. #Advertising #DigitalMarketing #Publishing #GoogleAdManager #ContentPolicy #AdExperience #DataPrivacy #TrafficTip #ContentUpdate #AccountSecurity

What does Google's recent loss , in the anti trust case , mean for the advertisers? * More Ad Platforms: The ruling could force Google to open up its ad ecosystem, allowing for more competition from other platforms. * Fairer Bidding: Advertisers might benefit from a more transparent and fair bidding process, potentially reducing the cost-per-click (CPC) for certain keywords. * Data Restrictions: If Google is forced to share data or limit its data collection practices, it could impact the effectiveness of targeted advertising. * Privacy Focus: Increased privacy regulations and restrictions on data usage could lead to a shift towards privacy-centric advertising solutions. * Platform Changes: Google might implement changes to its ad platform to comply with the ruling, which could lead to disruptions for advertisers. * Legal Battles: The legal process could be lengthy, and the outcome uncertain, creating an environment of uncertainty for advertisers. * Emergence of Competitors: The ruling could create opportunities for smaller ad platforms to gain market share, offering advertisers alternative options. * Innovation: Increased competition might drive innovation in advertising technologies and formats.

Google Ads Update Alert! Google Ads is strengthening its guidelines to counteract misleading advertising. The Misrepresentation policy has been updated, effective from November 21, 2023, shifting certain violations to the stricter Unacceptable Business Practices policy. Violating the new rules can lead to an immediate suspension of the Google Ads account without warning. The focus is on preventing the promotion of products or services that cannot be fulfilled due to a lack of qualifications. Advertisers wrongly accused of violating the policy can appeal. The Misrepresentation policy targets misleading ads, while the Unacceptable Business Practices policy deals with false brand impersonation and deceptive practices. Ads may be rejected or your account may be suspended if you repeatedly violate our regulations, therefore it's important to abide by them. The Digital Markets Act (DMA), imposes new requirements on major companies like Google, Amazon, Meta and Microsoft, designating them as 'gatekeepers'. They now have an obligation as gatekeepers: they are responsible for obtaining user consent for their core platform services. As such, the Google Consent Mode V2 ensures that Google adheres to privacy legislation. In practice, for businesses within the EEA (websites) to continue to enjoy the full and complete workings of Google Ads, embracing the Google Consent Mode V2 is essential. https://lnkd.in/eyQGn7XG
