Interesting tool shared by the CDC to help restaurant managers and staff understand how to assess and score food safety culture with example questions for a survey. Food safety is a critical topic for everyone throughout the food industry, with opportunity for continuous improvement. There is a great guidance document available to everyone in the industry in the form of PAS 320, which was published earlier this year, that provides the framework for using data to understand the level of food safety culture maturity, how to build an effective food safety culture team, how to embed positive change and how to sustain continuous improvements to food safety culture.
