Today is National Disability Independence Day, commemorating the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act, or ADA, 34 years ago. In addition to the anniversary of this landmark legislation, July also serves as Disability Pride Month, a time to honor the unique experiences and cultural contributions of over 1 billion people worldwide with apparent or non-apparent disabilities.    At Neiman Marcus Group, we’re proud to cultivate a culture of Belonging where associates are welcomed, valued, and empowered to be their best. Our NMG Way of Working provides flexibility for all of our associates, and our Abilities Associate Community Network (ACN) provides a supportive community for associates with disabilities while advancing inclusion, accessibility, and a stigma-free workplace. This year, our disability inclusion efforts were recognized by Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities and earned us a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion designation with a score of 100 on the Disability Equality Index®.     We’re also proud to highlight our Disability at NMG: Belonging, Accessibility, and Accommodations Guide, which provides an overview of the benefits we provide to associates who need support with their apparent or non-apparent disability.
