Have you ever wondered how centuries-old Mughal influences still linger on our plates today? From the 16th century, the Mughals introduced Indian cuisine to Persian-inspired desserts, baking up creations like: 🍽️ Shahi Tukda: A royal saffron-infused bread pudding with cardamom and rose water. 🍽️ Sheermal: Sweet, saffron-flavoured bread—a perfect pairing for savoury delights. tfk Bakery preserves this legacy today, blending these authentic flavours with a clean-label approach—no preservatives, just pure ingredients! It's a taste of Mughal opulence, thoughtfully reimagined for modern palates.

Here’s some overview of the dishes created with #Solein during Solar Foods launch in NY. I wish pictures could describe taste!! #OutOfThinAir #Sustainability #FoodOfTheFuture
Let's take a look at our first taste of Solein in the ever-dynamic New York. This is the full menu served at the launch event, every dish powered by Solein: 🟡 The menu, curated by the culinary mastermind Greg Baxtrom of Olmsted restaurant, showcased his interpretation of how Solein can be used. The menu began with Beer-Battered Delicata Solein Squash Rings. Paired with Green Tomato Ketchup and a dash of Fallikake, it was an appetizer to remember. 🟡 The feast continued with Brussels Sprout Solein Spätzle — A distinctive dish that combined Paive Vecchio and a rich Alfredo sauce, embodying both comfort and innovation. 🟡 Then, we were treated to Baxtrom’s signature dish reimagined with Solein, Solein Carrot Crêpe — Elevated with carrot butter, sunflower, and preserved lemon, it brought a burst of brightness and complexity to the palate. 🟡 The grand finale was the Old-School Solein Chocolate Mousse — A classic dessert reimagined and served with poached Italian plums and orange marmalade. shari (しゃり) is the meticulously seasoned rice that forms the foundation of each piece. Preparing shari is an art in itself: short-grain rice is gently washed, cooked to the perfect texture, and then seasoned while still warm with a precise blend of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. This process, known as sumeshi, creates a delicate balance of flavors, enhancing the subtle taste of fresh fish or other toppings. In Japanese cuisine, shari isn’t just a component; it’s the soul of sushi, crafted to elevate each bite into a refined experience.

"𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵?" Many guests assume a beautifully plated dessert will be heavy or overly sweet—often because of the lack of balance they’ve experienced in so many others. And here’s where great pastry stands apart: balance transforms a dessert from good to exceptional. In a well-balanced dessert, each component has a purpose. It's not about piling on sugar and flavors—it’s about letting each ingredient shine. For instance, in this chocolate-peanut tart: 𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 gives a hint of chocolate without the extra sugar. 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘂𝘅 keeps it rich yet balanced. Simply 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀 add a satisfying crunch. And a touch of 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 brings everything together, adding just the right complexity. The magic lies in using only three core flavors, perfectly combined to create a dessert that’s both gourmande and refreshing. Creating this kind of experience means thinking beyond sweetness—it’s about delivering memorable flavors that leave guests craving more, not overwhelmed. 💬 How do you think balanced desserts impact guest satisfaction in your establishment? #BalancedDesserts #GuestSatisfaction #FrenchPastryExcellence #MemorableDesserts #CulinaryCraftsmanship

A bit of wine English How can describe a wine, maybe on your website or your pricelist? Here are some example sentences: Colour: pale (blass), intensive In the nose there are aromas of cassis and cherry with a hint of wood/with a wooden touch. Note: aromas are always in the nose, flavours are always on the palate (Gaumen). The palate is fruity with smooth tannins. This Riesling has a pronounced (betont) acidity, perfectly balanced with its natural sweetness - a wine with a great storage potential (Reifepotential, Lagerpotential). The wine is full-bodied and multilayered/multifaceted (vielschichtig, facettenreich). This wine has matured/aged nicely and is now perfect for drinking. This is an easy-drinking wine for al-fresco enjoyment (al-fresco means draußen, also ein Terassenwein/Wein, den man im Sommer im Garten genießt), You can enjoy this wine on its own or pair it with light summer dishes.
