I’m excited to share that I have earned my "Congenital Hypothyroidism: What Every Primary Care Provider Needs to Know" from Stanford University School of Medicine. I’ve gained valuable insights into  Congenital Hypothyroidism (CH) to ensure early diagnosis and effective management. CH can have significant impacts on growth and development if not treated promptly. Here are some key points to consider: Early Screening and Diagnosis: Newborn screening is essential for early detection. Confirmatory testing should follow any abnormal screening results. Treatment Initiation: Starting levothyroxine treatment as soon as possible is critical to prevent developmental delays. Monitoring and Adjustment: Regular monitoring of TSH and free T4 levels helps in adjusting the dosage to maintain optimal thyroid function.
