I’ve gained valuable insights into  Congenital Hypothyroidism (CH) to ensure early diagnosis and effective management. CH can have significant impacts on growth and development if not treated promptly. Here are some key points to consider: Early Screening and Diagnosis: Newborn screening is essential for early detection. Confirmatory testing should follow any abnormal screening results. Treatment Initiation: Starting levothyroxine treatment as soon as possible is critical to prevent developmental delays. Primary care lacks enough applicants to fill Match Day more so than all other specialties combined. Each in fact can claim the same. #internalmedicine #familymedicine #pediatrics. The low pay isn’t alone the reason. The corporatization -70%-has eliminated autonomy and burden of coding and prior auths creates a factory medicine burnout buzzsaw. And of those entering 68% don’t plan to see patients. This goes beyond a wake up call. It’s a giant opportunity for winning models like direct care that show zero evidence of factory medicine burnout.
